Georges Wolinski was a familiar figure to the visitors who would meet him every
Autumn at the Saint-Just Salon, of which he was a faithful friend.
After his death due to the tragic terrorist slaughters against Charlie Hebdo on January 7th 2015, his wife Maryse wished to perpetuate the existence of her husband’s working space through a donation to the Permanent Center. His intimate living and creating area has been faithfully reconstituted here in memory of the famous humorist, an icon of freedom of expression.
