Since 2008, the elementary school, in close collaboration with the municipality of Saint-Just-Le-Martel and Saint-Just-Culture-Loisirs, has designed (created) 5 educational trails. The idea is to discover our town by hiking.
These trails are all decorated with signs where you can live a story, answer scientific questions, use the map…. Three illustrators contributed to the realization of the panels, with the pupils of the time. They are Bernadette Desprès (creator of TomTom and Nana), Véronique Deiss (illustrator of the famous Anne Fine books) and Fabrice Maintoux (illustrator living in Panazol that we see very often in the town because he s actively involved in the organization of the press and humor drawing festival but also because he illustrated the panels of the Vélobus in Saint-Just, the posters of the Christmas market in Saint-Just and many other things ).
The presentation of the 5 educational trails is installed on the front of the school. It will allow everyone to find the starting point of all.

The path of the night
The shortest route starts at a distance of about one kilometer from the school. This is the night trail. We cross the school orchard where around thirty apple, medlar and other fruit trees are planted.

The path of the senses
To awaken the senses, it is on the path of the senses that one must go. The entrance is located on the heights of La Roche. The path that leads us to Fontaguly and La Croix Blanche is the right one. There, we discover Jules Nérouj, a clown who, following his evening performance, decides to stretch his legs while walking.

The path of the wolf
Among these trails, there is that of the wolf which walks the small paths around the village of Lasfonts. As in the story of Little Red Riding Hood, in the woods, you can choose your path. Keep an eye out because the wolf is never far away.

The path of the witch
The second path is the longest. We carry out a walk of about 5 Kilometers. But what ride ? It takes us to the banks of the Vienne where we can discover the Menhir of the town in particular. Be careful not to touch it because you risk waking the witch!

Finally, for those who like adventures, by taking the path which starts from the same place as the path of the senses but heads towards the equestrian center, we can meet ... dragons ... on the path ... dragon trees.

École des Justins
The art school of the Salon International de la Caricature, du Dessin de Presse et d’Humour de Saint-Just-le-Martel was created with the aim of allowing the young people of Saint-Just-le-Martel, as well as others, to learn various drawing techniques (press drawing, caricature, watercolor ...) in contact with well-known professional cartoonists and friends of the salon. Each day of the 2018 show, the participants had a privileged interlocutor who passed on a little of his knowledge and answered as many of their questions as possible... Many draftsmen and volunteers participated in the workshop. Each of them was awarded a diploma in recognition of their participation. The association Saint Just Culture Loisir, meanwhile, welcomes the arrival of twenty new young members this year through this new activity that is the School of Justins.
